Updated · DMFirst

Fortune tiger mascot holding a gold question mark for the DMFirst FAQ

This DMFirst FAQ collects short answers to the questions players send most often: how the official DMFirst website and the game fit together, what your account stores, how the rooms and coins work, what the law says about money games, and where to get help. Each answer is a few lines long, so you can find what you need fast.

Every guide on DMFirst also ends with its own questions on that topic. Those are not repeated here; the table near the end of this page tells you which guide to open for each topic.

DMFirst FAQ: About This Website

What does the name dm1st.uk stand for?

It is a short way of writing DMFirst: "1st" reads as "first". Some people search for DM1st for the same reason. dm1st.uk is the official DMFirst website, and the DMFirst game opens from it at app.dm1st.uk.

How are this website and app.dm1st.uk connected?

They are two parts of DMFirst, run by the same team. dm1st.uk holds the guides, the safety advice and the support details. app.dm1st.uk is where the game itself runs, with your account, coins, history and leaderboard.

Why do some pages say colour and others color?

Both spellings mean the same thing. Colour is the usual spelling in Indian English, so we use it, but many people type color into search, so you may see it now and then.

How often are the DMFirst guides checked?

Each guide shows an "Updated" date under its main heading. We review the pages when the game, the app or the law changes, and we fix reported mistakes as soon as we can confirm them.

Does DMFirst sell coins, run ads or pay promoters?

No. There is no coin shop, no affiliate link, no invite code and no paid promoter. Anyone who says they are a DMFirst agent and asks you to pay or join through their link is not part of DMFirst.

Can I point out a mistake or suggest a topic?

Yes, please do. Write to contact@dm1st.uk and tell us which page and which sentence. Screenshots of a fake site, APK or message also help us warn other players.

DMFirst FAQ: Accounts and Your Data

Where is my DMFirst account stored?

On the DMFirst server, not in one browser. Passwords are stored only as a PBKDF2 hash, never as plain text. Because the account lives on the server, the same username and password work on any phone or computer.

What personal details does the game keep?

Your username, the hash of your password, your date of birth, your email if you chose to add one, your coin balance, and your picks and round history. The game never asks for a phone number, Aadhaar, PAN, bank account or UPI ID.

I got an SMS with a DMFirst OTP. Is it real?

No. DMFirst never asks for your phone number, so it never sends OTPs by SMS. A message with a "DMFirst code" is someone trying to get into another account of yours, such as a bank or UPI app. Do not share it, and report the message through Chakshu on Sanchar Saathi.

Can two people share one phone?

Yes. Each person logs in to their own account. Log out before handing the phone over, and each account will show only its own coins and history. Never share one account between people, because whoever knows the password controls the coins.

What is the difference between a guest and a full account?

A guest can play straight away after the age check, without choosing a username or password. A full account can be used on any device. You can upgrade a guest to a full account later and keep the coins you have.

Can DMFirst support see my password?

No. Only a one-way hash of it is stored, so nobody on our team can read it. That is also why our team will never ask you for your password. Anyone who does is not DMFirst.

Playing the DMFirst Game

Do I need an internet connection to play?

Yes. Rounds are run and settled on the DMFirst server, so the game needs a connection to show the timer, take your picks and send the result. A weak signal can make a pick arrive too late for the current round.

Can I play in more than one room at a time?

Yes. All four rooms (Quick 30s, Classic 1 Min, Steady 3 Min, Relaxed 5 Min) run at the same time. Switch rooms to place picks in another one; each keeps its own timer and results history.

Why did my pick go into the next period?

Picks close 5 seconds before each round ends. If you confirm inside that window, the pick cannot count for the round that is about to close.

What are the smallest and largest stakes?

Each pick can be from 10 to 1,00,000 coins. Check the total on the confirm screen before you tap, so you never stake more than you meant to.

What do the results history and charts tell me?

They show what came up in past rounds, so you can check a round you played. They do not forecast the next one: every round uses a new random seed, so a run of one colour or size makes no difference to what comes next.

Will playing here make me better at money games?

No. Playing teaches you the rules, but skill cannot beat a random draw. Money apps that copy this format usually take a fee from every pick, so more play there only means losing more, not winning more.

DMFirst FAQ: Coins, Prizes and the Law

Why can I not buy coins with money?

Because coins are meant to stay worthless outside the game. If coins could be bought, they would start to act like money, and the game would stop being free play. Every coin comes free instead: 10,000 on sign-up, a daily bonus, and a refill of 2,000 when you drop under 100, once every 6 hours.

Do coins expire if I stop playing for a while?

No. Your balance stays on your account until you use it or delete the account. When you come back and log in on any device, the coins are where you left them.

Does the weekly leaderboard give prizes?

No. The leaderboard is just for fun and shows how players are doing in coins that week. Nobody wins money, gifts or vouchers, and coins cannot be cashed out at any rank.

Why is DMFirst played with coins instead of money?

Since 1 May 2026, the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans online money games in India, where people pay in hoping to win money or prizes. DMFirst has no deposits, no stakes of value and no prizes, so it stays a free game. This is general information, not legal advice.

Why do I still see ads for money apps that use the DMFirst name?

Copycats ignore the ban on advertising money games and borrow our name. Those ads are not ours. Do not tap through or install anything from them, report the ad where you saw it, and report any fraud on 1930.

Can I pay with UPI, Paytm or PhonePe anywhere on DMFirst?

No. Neither the website nor the game has any payment feature, so any page asking you to pay "DMFirst" through UPI, Paytm, PhonePe or Google Pay is not ours.

Safety and Getting Help

How do I contact the DMFirst team?

By email at contact@dm1st.uk. We have no phone helpline and no WhatsApp or Telegram support, so numbers and chats claiming to be DMFirst support are fake.

Who can I talk to if gaming is affecting my sleep or mood?

Tele-MANAS on 14416 offers free mental health support in Indian languages, day and night. The iCALL helpline on 9152987821 also gives free, private counselling.

How do I report a fake website, APK or message?

Report money fraud on the 1930 helpline or at cybercrime.gov.in. Suspicious calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages can be reported through Chakshu on the Sanchar Saathi portal. Tell us at contact@dm1st.uk too if it uses the DMFirst name.

How can I set a daily time limit on my phone?

On Android, open Settings, then Digital Wellbeing, and set an app or website timer. On iPhone, use Settings, then Screen Time, then App Limits. Both stop you when the time is up.

How should I talk to a family member who plays money apps?

Pick a calm moment, ask how much time and money it takes, and listen before you advise. Offer practical help such as blocking payment apps for games, and share the free helplines.

What should I do first if I think I have been scammed?

Stop all payments, call your bank to block your UPI or card, then report on 1930 within hours if you can. Keep screenshots, transaction IDs and the scammer’s numbers.

Play Safely and Keep It Fun

Every answer in this DMFirst FAQ assumes you play for fun. A free coin game is still built to keep you tapping. Set a time limit before you start, take breaks, and never move to a money app because a run went well here; the long-run maths does not change.

Free support: Tele-MANAS on 14416 and the iCALL counselling helpline. Report money fraud on 1930 or at the national cybercrime portal.

18+ only. DMFirst rounds are played with free virtual coins that are not money, and nobody can predict or promise a result. Since 1 May 2026, India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans online games played for money. Read our legal and safety answers for limits and free help.

Conclusion: The DMFirst FAQ in One Line

If you remember one thing from this DMFirst FAQ, make it this: DMFirst is free, its coins are virtual, and we never ask for money, payment details, codes, OTPs or your password. Anyone who does is not us.

Still stuck? Send us your question, and we will add the answer to the DMFirst FAQ if other players are likely to need it too.
